Cantina del Castello is a winery made up of people who are passionate about the area, the vineyard and wine. The historic winery, located within the city walls of the Soave Castle, is the heart of the company's business, which operates in compliance with the typicality and tradition of the wines it produces. Guardian of the past and treasure chest of ancient history, Cantina del Castello operates in respect of the environment and nature.

The company vinifies grapes from vineyards located in the heart of the classic Soave area, whose soil of volcanic origin gives minerality and freshness to the different types of wine produced: the Soave Classico and its Cru Pressoni, the Recioto di Soave Classico, the sparkling wine and the Grappa di Vinacce di Recioto. Furthermore, since its origins, Cantina del Castello has also offered red wines from Valpolicella, such as Amarone and Ripasso.

In the heart of the ancient medieval village of Soave, at the foot of the Scaligero Castle, in Corte Pittora 5, stands the palace of the Counts of San Bonifacio, which has been the headquarters of the business since the 1960s. The palace, which according to legend is linked to Templar history, today represents the perfect combination of tradition and innovation in which past and present meet to give life to a production of wines aimed at enhancing and promoting the Veronese territory. This essential link with history is reflected in the philosophy of the winery which places research and fidelity to the Soave tradition at the center of its production.

Our vineyards

Our wines are produced with Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes, harvested manually from our vineyards of volcanic origin, located on Monte Pressoni, in the heart of the Soave Classico.

Conversion to organic

Cantina del Castello is very attentive to its environmental impact and for this reason, in addition to converting to organic, it has also started a specific path aimed at the conservation of biodiversity in its lands and at 360 degrees corporate sustainability.
