The campsite's direct access to the beach gives easy access to the beautiful pedestrian promenade that leads in a short time to the historical centre of Bardolino and Garda. For children and teenagers, only 15 minutes by car from the campsite, there is the possibility to reach the theme parks of Gardaland, Movieland and the best discos, bars and restaurants of Lake Garda. For the younger ones the campsite is equipped with slides in the swimming pool and an entertainment service that offers a wide range of activities as well as outdoor playgrounds and an indoor one, for the cooler months.

 The campsite has two swimming pools, one of which is a panoramic pool with a slide, and an adults-only hydro pool with a lake view. In addition, there are all the services you need for a relaxing holiday: an internal restaurant with take-away service, a well-stocked supermarket, a bazaar with camping articles and bike hire, and a shop where you can buy souvenirs, gadgets and the products of our new farm La Rocca del Garda, in particular oil, honey and wine produced by us. For the little ones there is an internal mini-club where various activities are organised and a stage for evening entertainment. For total relaxation, the campsite also has a wellness centre offering treatments and massages, a sauna and a steam bath as well as a gym for those who want to work out.

In 2021 a new farm La Rocca del Garda was inaugurated, offering an animal park as well as trekking routes through our vineyards and olive trees. The park is very suitable for children with different types of farm animals such as donkeys, sheep, bees and even alpacas. The park is just waiting to be visited!

Context

La Rocca Camping Village is a splendid open-air tourist campsite overlooking the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, in a green oasis between the towns of Bardolino and Garda. Half of the campsite lies on the slopes of the Rocca, which makes it a unique location surrounded by the characteristic vegetation of Lake Garda. Moreover, the direct exit to the beach offers guests the comfort of reaching the lake in a few minutes, as well as the villages of Garda and Bardolino thanks to the lakeside promenade that connects them.

Origin

In 1961, La Rocca Campsite was founded, one of the first in the region, occupying an area of only 4 hectares, overlooking the lake. At that time the only buildings were: the reception, the toilets, and a small supermarket with local products, including wine and oil produced on the same estate. The campsite then rapidly changed its appearance, making a few changes each year in order to improve the services offered to customers until the installation of the three swimming pools and Glamping accommodations with hot tub.

Special Experience

During your stay at the campsite, it is worth taking a walk through the historic centre of the town, where the splendid church of San Severo, a masterpiece of Veronese Romanesque architecture, and the small church of San Zeno, one of the oldest in the province, stand out. In addition to its scenic and cultural attractions, Lake Garda also offers food and wine, thanks to its fertile land, mild climate and ancient local traditions. Bardolino, in particular, offers interesting itineraries in search of authentic flavours, being an ideal starting point to visit Valpolicella, a hilly area east of the lake, renowned for the gentleness of its land dotted with vineyards (from which the famous Amarone is made), ancient villas, and charming little churches, bearing witness to a rich past. In addition, the whole lake lends itself to various activities such as mountain biking, cycling, trekking and boat trips, some of which can be organised with our Bazaar which, as well as selling products, offers different types of experience.
